A Remodeling Process Built Around You
Most homeowners we talk to have a story about a contractor who disappeared, blew the budget, or left them in the dark for weeks at a time. We built RemodelCo to be the opposite of that.
Our process is designed to keep you informed at every step, from the first phone call all the way through the final walkthrough.
You will always know what's happening, what's coming next, and what your project is going to cost.
We ask detailed questions upfront so nothing gets missed, we give honest answers about your home (even when those answers are not the easy ones), and we stick to the timelines we commit to.

Our Process
Initial Contact and Phone Qualification
On-Site Consultation and Ballpark Estimate
Next, we come to your home to walk the space with you, talk through your vision, take measurements, and ask the kind of detailed questions that other contractors usually skip.
For most basement projects, we can give you a ballpark estimate on-site. For other remodeling projects, developing an estimate will take more time. Either way, final pricing will be locked in once materials and plans are set.
Agreement & Deposit
Once the ballpark feels right, we put a simple agreement in place and collect a small deposit. This lets us start putting real time into the work that comes next: material selection, permitting, and the planning that gets everything ready to build.
Design Phase (If Needed)
If you already have plans, we skip straight ahead to material selection and final pricing. If you need design help, we will connect you with a trusted partner designer. A small design deposit (typically around $500) covers a two-hour consultation, and a RemodelCo team member collaborates with the designer from the start to keep everything aligned with your project.
Material Selection & Project Development
Once the design direction is set, we get into the details. This is where we nail down:

By the end of this phase, every detail is locked in and ready for construction.
Final Bid
With selections and scope finalized, we put together your fixed-price proposal. This is the real number, based on your actual plans and materials. If anything has shifted from the original ballpark estimate, we will have already walked you through it. No surprises at the finish line.
Scheduling, Construction, & Project Management
Once your final plan is approved, we will get your project on the calendar. You will know your start date, your major milestones, and what to expect on day one. Then our team manages every piece of the build, and we self-perform the work that matters most, including framing, tile, flooring, doors, and light HVAC.
For specialty trades like electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, countertops, carpet, and paint, we bring in long-time subcontractors we trust. You will hear from us regularly throughout the build, because consistent communication is one of the biggest reasons our clients choose us in the first place.
Project Completion
We finish the project with a careful walkthrough and a focus on the small details that make a big difference. The goal is simple: hand you a finished space that looks great, functions even better, and matches the vision you had when we first sat down together.
